Manifested.

So 2012 is waning away and with it's passing it is giving rise to new greater better more amazing things than I could have imagined. Im sure 2013 is going to have it's fill of hardship but as Im sitting here looking at my first ever completed kickstarter im just blown away.

I claim this moment as one to be a sentimental cancerian! I kind of started tearing up in the video I just made...my voice cracking like an insecure teenager lol But I sort of feel that way. That build of nervous energy swirling around in the pit of my stomach with a tight ball of excitement building up. On one hand I certainly am feeling the pressure of people's expectations. So many people have come out of the woodwork of the...the world i guess *blinks at some of the international backers* in supporting my work for this new year. I want to make sure its worth their interest & funding.

On the other hand? I feel a sort of relief in seeing so many people regard my work in a way that is worth notice. Sort of validated I guess? Thats not to say I dont fancy myself skilled at what I do. If i didnt feel at least that for my work I wouldnt push it like I have for so many years. But there is always a nagging doubt that my work is lacking something since it isnt you know.. knocking down the doors of Vogue as it were.

I took a lot of risks at the end of this year. I quit 2 large corrupt companies to join 2 smaller just budding businesses that have the risk of failing and leaving me high and dry. But I dont regret it. I love my change to Geek Goddess.

Ironically the first year I felt like Iv made a lot of changes and headway is this year and it was the first time at my 1 mandatory family function a yr that no one asked how I was doing LoL *facepalm*

All that aside, I just want to crank up my music as loud as the speakers go, sing along to what ever plays and work out all this energy iv got built up.

Or  Channel my inner Zangief  in bear hugging all of my friends I can reach.

On a lighter note, I got another garment in from Milanoo to review!
This time it wasnt a lolita garment but a sexy piece of rubber! Ill spare you the text.
Why read when you can watch a video review of the product?lol

I am frequently known as Shannu to most of the group. Though I don't know where the nickname originated from! Behind the scenes I'm usually holding up reflectors that are ten times my size, or making sure lights don't come tumbling down on the models or photographer. I make sure to fix any piece of fabric and hair that is out of place. When I model I go as far as climbing into a fountain when it's fifty degrees outside, letting people put a dead crab on my head, and climbing trees. No matter what I'm wearing!! I'm all for doing crazy stuff for an awesome photo. It's rare that I take photos but when I do I make sure to catch some epic ones...

By nature I like to make things. If it's with a glue gun, polymer clay, or thread and needle!! I've been creating things since I was a daisy in girl scouts. I'm attempting to make things good enough that people would want to buy. PEPPERMINT BUTLERS FOR EVERYONE!! I get ideas from movies, books, and music. Crafting isn't my only source of creativity. I also write, though most people don't ever see my writing. It's as random as a fictional concert to the fourth level of hell.

Fav Hobbies: Crafting, Cosplay, reading, writing, photoshoots, going to concerts, playing DCU online which is my new addiction. I don't know how to stop!

Fav Movies/Tv: The Nightmare Before Christmas is my favorite movie ever and it has been since 1993!, Battle Royale, Dawn of the dead. As tv shows go: The Walking dead, Game of thrones, Archer.

Fav Books: Night by Elie Wiesel, The Harry Potter series (don't judge me!!), The Hobbit, Lost Souls by Poppy z. Brite.

Fav Bands: My favorite bands rotate a lot but I tend to enjoy these ones a lot: Metallica, Slayer, Slipknot, Avenged Sevenfold, Within Temptation, Linkin Park, Eisley, Nox Arcana, Three Days Grace.

Random uncommonly known fact: I really like insane asylums. I don't know why. They just seem to be so fascinating to me. I'll read any book about them and watch any movie, even if it's lame. XD I like making towers of iced-tea bottles

Hey there folks, The names Patrick Purcell and I tend to be a jack of all trades round here.
I do some of the photography, some of the set design, some of the set construction, some concept work, a lot of the grip work, and pretty much all the driving. In my personal creative endeavors I’m more of a writer than a photographer. Lately I’ve been writing in a mixture of Modern Anachronism (Steampunk is the overused term), Horror, Mystery, and Drama. The current piece started as a short story concept and has been slowly growing to encompass a whole world building process to the final result of completing at least one full novel. Just need more people interested I guess.

Fav Hobbies: Gaming in many different facets from Console to PC and Table top to LARP (I try to be the more improvisational actor kind than the throwing wadded up tissue paper kind). Although recently, I have rediscovered my video game roots in fighting games. And of course Warhammer will always be the world that Warcraft stole. Never Forgive, Never Forget (Shake fist at the sky)

Fav Movies/Tv: Waaaay too many to count but a quick top 3 would be Ghostbusters, Yojimbo, and Avengers.

Fav Books: Anything written by Brom, Gaiman, or Butcher

Fav Bands: Another near impossible task. But Top 3 at the moment would have to be Dream Theater, Opeth, and Mastodon

1 random uncommonly known fact: I am haunted by Hitler and Nazi references.
 It’s a near daily occurrence...I can’t escape them. I am truly cursed.

Featured Team Mate: Kaito Milk

I usually go by the name Kai, but I answer the various other names/insults. For the most part I work on every thing with everyone. I guess if I had to pick my special talent in the group it would be costume and garment construction. If something needs to be made, tailored, added, or has to do with fabric I am the person to hit up for advice. On the flip side I love helping out with the back grounds and photos, I even think I do a pretty half way decent job at it! I would venture to say that we all help out on actual conceptualizing the theme and setting, but I am probably the one who gets to ahead of them self.

When I am not around my nutty friends I am home working on my small projects and cosplays, though its always more encouraging and fun when you have someone to do it with. I am always up for new and challenging things. I am one of those people who will stop and look through your junk at the side of the road to see if there is anything useful for a photo shoot or cosplay! As a matter of fact I am currently storing turkey organs in my freezer left over from the holidays

Favorite Hobbies: Sewing, crafting, cosplay, I also have many fandomes in which I spend enough money to consider hobbies Such as "Axis Powers Hetalia "and "Tiger & Bunny", I have tried my hand at table top games and would love to learn more!

Favorite Movies: Sleepy Hollow, Elizabeth: the Golden Age, Nightmare Before Christmas, Rise of the Guardians, and How to Train your Dragon

Favorite Games: I am a big fan of the Shin Megami Tensei series my favorite one would have to be Nocturne though! Along with many games from my child hood.

Favorite Books: I am much more of a graphic novel person, But I have been a huge fan of Anne Rice since I was 13. So I would have to say The Vampire Chronicles.

Favorite Bands: Hands down is Plastic Tree and D, Queen, and anything metal that my friends like to play. I really love it all.
